There have been some rough days for Uber and Lyft drivers in the Charlotte area lately.

Lyft driver Terrance Taylor tells WBTV that, sometimes, being a paid driver can be a dicy experience. He described some people he picks up that take him down to a "little iffy place" and it's some apartment down in the cut. He said those kind of places worry him. He tells of one recent passenger encounter where a woman came running out of a building, jumped into the car, and said "just go!"

Uber driver Kareem Harris had his car shot up recently in northeast Charlotte. Four bullet holes were found in the side of the car.

On Tuesday, funeral services were held for Uber driver Marlo Medina Chevez who was found dead in a Rock Hill field. His car was found in Maryland. 24 year old Diontray Adams and 20 year old James Stevens are facing charges in Chevez' death.
