As the Panthers embark on the second half of their regular season, they so without their top receiver Kelvin Benjamin, who was traded earlier this week to Buffalo for a pair of picks in next year's draft.

KB was their number-1 receiver and led the team with 475 yards in the first half.

Now, it will mean more opportunities for Devin Funchess, Curtis Samuel, Russell Shepard, and Kaelin Clay.

Veteran receiver Brenton Bersin was also brought back in this week to help fill out the position.

You can hear my interview here with assistant WR Coach Jerricho Cotchery, who is in his first season as an NFL coach after playing 12 years in the league including his final two with Carolina.

We talked about this week's game versus Atlanta, and how the other players will have to step up in place of their former teammate.
