A 12-year-old boy was repeatedly allegedly punched by a woman for holding a sign supporting President Trump while biking in Colorado earlier this week.
The alleged assault took place on Monday in Boulder, according to a story from Newsweek on Thursday.
"The boy's father, Jesse Rosales, told The Denver Channel that the woman had attacked his son after riding past him on a moped," the story reported.
The woman allegedly came up to the boy and said "You want something to look at?" and then repeatedly allegedly hit him with a closed fist on his back and arms.
According to The Denver Channel on Wednesday "The police report states the woman then reportedly tried to take the Trump sign from the boy’s hands, who was using it to defend himself against the attack before she took off."
The woman was on a gray or blue moped when she saw the boy riding his bike, according to the Newsweek story.
"The suspect is described as a white female in her 20s or 30s. She was wearing a tan jacket, blue shirt and blue jeans at the time of the alleged offense," the Newsweek story reported.
“I like showing what I believe in,” the boy said in media reports. “I didn’t want any conflict – I just wanted to show what I believe in.”
