Results of a new international poll of thousands of doctors show that hydroxychloroquine, the drug pushed by President Donald Trump, is the best treatment for the Chinese coronavirus.
The study, conducted by Sermo, surveyed more than 6,200 doctors from around the world and found that 37 percent called the anti-malaria drug the "most effective therapy" out of 15 options in treating the virus.
The survey also found that 23 percent of health care professionals in the U.S. have used the drug, which was sixth-most among major countries. Spain prescribed it most by far at 72 percent, followed by Italy (49 percent) and Brazil (41 percent).
