Gunfire has injured 13 people at a funeral memorial service in Bogalusa.
“Officers determined that 13 individuals had been shot during the incident with one in critical condition,” Bogalusa Police Major Troy Tervalon said.
He described the event as "a memorial service for Dominique James (who was recently found murdered)."
It happened around 9pm Saturday night near Martin Luther King Drive and East 4th Street in Bogalusa.
“At this time, no eye witnesses have come forth, with any information. The Bogalusa Police Department requests that anyone with information please call one of the following numbers: police headquarters / 985-732-3611 or detectives division / 985-732-6240.”
