Minnesota man who attended Sturgis rally dies of COVID

A Minnesota biker is believed to be the first COVID-19 related death associated with the Sturgis motorcycle rally.  

The man in his 60's had underlying conditions, and had been intensive care, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.  

An estimated 400,000 people attended the 10-day rally in South Dakota.  Since then, at least 260 cases of COVID in 11 different states have been traced back to Sturgis.  

This is the first known COVID fatality traced to the Sturgis rally.
