UNC-Chapel Hill announced all of its undergraduate courses are switching to virtual instruction after another 130 students have tested positive for COVID-19.

The announcement, made on Monday, comes after four clusters of cases were reported among the school’s dorms, apartments and a fraternity house in three days, reports The News & Observer.

Currently, there are 324 confirmed cases at the school since February, with 279 of those students and 45 staff members.

“As of this morning, we have tested 954 students (last week) and have 177 in isolation and 349 in quarantine, both on and off campus,” said Chancellor Kevin Guskiewicz and Provost Bob Blouin in a Monday statement.

“So far, we have been fortunate that most students who have tested positive have demonstrated mild symptoms,” they added.

According to health officials, the current tally may not account for total cases, as students with an out-of-town address or who were tested at a non-UNC-affiliated testing site are not immediately counted.
