John Hancock signed off his WBT afternoon program for the final time on Thursday, October 17.
Hancock has been on WBT and been a part of Charlotte for the past 29 years.
Earning the name of "Charlotte's Most Beloved" along the way for his heavy involvement with charities including Kids First of the Carolinas.
Hancock is the only memebr of WBT Hall of Fame who was inducted while still on the air.
In his final hour of a 29 year run with WBT , Hancock took some time to reflect before fighting back tears on his final segment.
