According to Pat McCrory, newly elected Congressman Dan Bishop may be interested in joining the Freedom Caucus.
The decision facing Bishop may affect his ability to get on other committees as McCrory explains "The Republican leadership of the House doesn't like a separate, kind of parlimentary group, separate from the Republican Party called the Freedom Caucus."
McCrory goes on to blame the Freedom Caucus for damaging effects on important issues such as immigration, health care and the construction of a border wall.
McCrory shares that he would never join the organization because as a memeber you must vote with the Freedom Caucus even if it goes against leadership.
