Governor Cooper appears to have "improperly used the authority and influence of his office"
to pressure nutural gas pipeline builders to agree to a 57 million dollar mitigation fund under his control.
Former Governor Pat McCrory, whom Cooper replaced in office reacted to the allegations on his radio show.
McCrory claims that Duke Energy Company (his former employer) cooperated with the federal investigators while representatives from the Cooper administration did not.
