Senator Thom Tillis visited the Pat McCrory show and gave an update of the impeachment proceedings from his perspective.
Tillis said "We are in about the third week of impeachment held hostage over on the House side."
"I think Pelosi has decided to keep it because she understands that she has a bad case to be presented to the Senate as a jury."
"When it comes over I think it will be dealt with expeditiously...."
Tillis continued, "What they (House) want to do is have it come to the Senate and have us call in subpoenas and follow the same legal process, it makes no sense."
"I think Pelosi is trying to make lemonade out of lemons and she is trying to figure out how to negotiate out of a bad hand."
