As the Democrats wrapped up the first-ever virtual convention last week, President Trump heads to Charlotte to open the 2020 Republican National Convention on Monday.

Officials say Trump is scheduled to land outside of Charlotte-Douglas Airport aboard Air Force One at approx. 11:45 a.m. tomorrow morning.

The President is scheduled to make an appearance at the convention as the 336 Republican delegates take roll call to start the renomination process. He will go from the Queen City to Mills River, where he plans to meet farmers at a Families Food Box program site with daughter Ivanka Trump and Agriculture Sec. Sonny Perdue.

Charlotte was originally scheduled to host the 2020 RNC. North Carolina's statewide mandate to address the Covid-19 crisis prompted Trump and the Republicans to move events to Jacksonville, Fla., which upheld similar guidelines prohibiting a full-scale convention. He'll now deliver his acceptance speech from the White House on Thursday night.

This marks Trump's 11th visit to the Tar Heel State with his last trip to Charlotte in March of this year.
