The campaign for democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden announced two new television advertisements airing in select states this week. Both are centralized around the former Vice President's home state. One of them will feature a testimonial from "Rick", a Pennsylvania farmer who voted for Donald Trump in 2016, but says he won't make that "mistake" again.  The ad will run in six battleground states — "Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Wisconsin, Minnesota and, of course, the Keystone State," according to the Biden campaign.

A second ad, "Engine," features footage from Biden's July speech in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, a suburb of the former vice president's hometown of Scranton, where he announced the "Build Back Better," economic agenda revitalizing American manufacturing.

"I do not buy for one second, that the vitality of American manufacturing is a thing of the past. It has to be part of the engine of new prosperity in America now. And it starts with a pretty basic idea: when we spend taxpayers' money, we should use it to buy American products and support American jobs," Biden said in the clip included in the ad, which will air in the swing states of Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

Biden continues to outspent Trump's re-election campaign with $65 million towards broadcast and digital ads this week. The target for his campaign is ten battleground states scattered across the nation including North Carolina. The races in Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada, Nebraska, Minnesota and the Tar Heel state are projected to remain close before November's election.

Biden returns to his home state on Thursday. He'll be participating in a CNN town hall in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Trump heads to Mosinee, Wisconsin, 100 miles west of Green Bay, for a campaign event. Two days before the President's return to North Carolina for his fourth stop in the past month. A “Great American Comeback Event.” is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Fayetteville Regional Airport on Saturday, Sept. 19.
