Jaime Harrison for U.S. Senate raised over $1 million in campaign donations yesterday. This coming after a new poll from Quinnipiac University showed a close race between Jaime Harrison and incumbent  Sen. Lindsey Graham in South Carolina. “This poll reflects what Jaime hears from voters every day: After 25 years in Washington, Lindsey Graham no longer represents South Carolina values and priorities,” campaign manager Zack Carroll said. “This campaign is fueled by grassroots donations from all 46 counties of the state – from average, hardworking South Carolinians who want a Senator who will once again put them first. The momentum is on this movement’s side, and every donation helps bring us closer to the goal of restoring hope to every corner of the state.”

Harrison outraised Graham in the first two FEC quarters of 2020, and raised more in August than the Graham campaign raised in all of the second quarter. A record amount considering Harrison's campaign announced back in April that it collected more than $7.3 million in contributions, compared to $5.6 for Graham's campaign during the same period.
