President Trump returns to North Carolina this week

President Donald Trump is returning to North Carolina on Saturday. A rally for supporters called the “Great American Comeback Event.” is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Fayetteville Regional Airport on Sept. 19. 

Trump is expected to address a crowd in central N.C. for yet another campaign stop in the region. The fourth appearance in the Tar Heel state for the president in the past month, and fourteenth since taking office in 2016.

Tickets for the event are available on a first come, first served basis. All attendees are required to agree that they assume all risks related to possible exposure to the coronavirus.

The official waiver on the President's re-election website says the following:

"By registering for this event, you understand and expressly acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. In attending the event, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and waive, release, and discharge Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; the host venue; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers from any and all liability under any theory, whether in negligence or otherwise, for any illness or injury."
