Aquesta Bank President/CEO Jim Engel joined Bo Thompson on WBT's Morning News to talk about Move Carolina Forward on Tuesday. The initiative highlights those in our region making contributions to better the lives of others during the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Aquesta Bank is a community bank and the operative word there is "Community", Engel said. "We very much care about the communities we are operating in and want the very best for them." In this time of unrest and uncertainty addressing the needs of those struggling around us remains a top priority.
A movement started by Entercom Charlotte grew through the help of others. Aquesta was added as a proud partner in a push to create a strong community footprint. "Over time we had our employees get together and really look at core values of what they wanted to work and live by," Engel said. "Together and caringness are the driving forces and that's what we've seen over the past few weeks." Charlotte is stronger everyday with our people, our businesses and our leaders moving in the right direction.
