Brett Jensen joined Bo Thompson for a second day in a row on WBT's Tuesday Morning News. Parents across the state are awaiting an announcement from N.C. Governor Roy Cooper regarding his plan to reopen schools.
Jensen previsously explained that Cooper was examining three different plans for teachers and students, but on Tuesday he updated that by saying that 'Plan A' is now off the table, leaving Cooper to choose between plans 'B' and 'C.'
Jensen also explained that "parents in most school districts will be given the option" between virtual learning at home, or sending their to child to the classroom traditionally.
Governor Cooper is set to announce his decision at 3:00 pm Tuesday afternoon.
