Filling the shoes of Charlotte's Beloved, John Hancock, would be no easy task, but Brett Winterble stepped in immediately made his mark on the Charlotte radio market.
In just under six months of hosting afternoons on WBT, Winterble has been recoginzed by Talkers Magazine on the Heavy Hundred 2020. Winterble humbly expressed his appreciation of being a part of the team.
Bo Thompson went to ask Winterble about the RNC, to which he express a lack of confidence in the host city. "Call it sooner rather than later..." Winterble said in terms of Jacksonville, and recommended the RNC "turn this thing into what the President is best at... a spectacle at a location with selected speakers."
Thompson closed the interview with Winterble's thoughts on the recent CMS news and N.C. Governor Roy Cooper's 'Plan B Plus Remote,' to which he replied "it does not look good for the tax payers here in Charlotte."
