Bo Thompson was joined by Brett Jensen for the final hour of WBT's Monday Morning News. Jensen has been been at the forefront of everything Coronavirus in the Carolinas, despite his struggles in press conferences with N.C. Governor Roy Cooper.

Jensen tackled the topic of reopening schools during his time on the air, and assured listeners that Cooper "does want students back in class ASAP... and so does everyone else." Although officials at the state and local levels want students back in classrooms, the Governor is faced with three different reopening plans.

Jensen also discussed a letter from the state superintendent to N.C. DHHS Secretary Mandy Cohen questioning the consistency of her policies.
