Wilson & Parcell Host Nick Wilson dropped by WBT's Friday Morning News with Bo Thompson. Among the burning topics discussed was the state of college football for 2020.

The Big Ten and Pac-12 conferences announced cancellations of their respective seasons earlier this week, leaving mixed reactions for the remaining FBS conferences who remain committed to playing later this year.

"I would assume they're probably going to play in the fall," Wilson said. "Greg Sankey, the SEC commissioner, has been all over this where instead of trying to be definitive about 'we are going to play' or 'we aren't going to play,' he's more trying to maybe take this at a slower pace."

Wilson faults one the conferences pulling out of 2020 for not waiting longer. "The biggest sin of  the Big Ten is it felt like they made the decision as quickly as humanly possible, instead of allowing this to play out. I think this decision can go out until early September."

The ACC decided on an 11-game schedule for the 2020 season, consisting of 10 league games plus Notre Dame. The Big 12 will allow non-conference games in September before league play on Sept. 26, the day the SEC season is set to open.
